Optimal charging of 12 V car batteries while driving

The Schaudt Booster WA 1215545 is designed for optimal charging of lead acid, lead gel, AGM and lithium batteries while driving in vehicles with 12 V systems.

The booster is a switch mode-up/step-down converter that compensates for the fluctuating alternator voltage and provides a high charging current.

The connected second battery should have a capacity of min. 80 Ah. It is charged independently of the alternator voltage. When enclosed battery temperature sensor is connected, the charging voltages are adjusted to the battery temperature. Switching to trickle charge is current-dependent and automatic.

When changing the type of battery, when commissioning for the first time or when retrofitting with accessories once settings must be made, otherwise no adjustments are required in daily operation on the booster.

Since the booster has a very high efficiency, it is compact and lightweight. The built-in fan is very quiet and runs only at high power.
