Approved for hazardous zones 1, 2, 21, and 22, it provides reliable safety for maintenance work as well as for rescue and security operations in environments at risk of explosion due to flammable gases, vapours, mists, or dusts.

The ATEXBEAM PL-AT803A impresses with its carefully designed functionality.
To meet individual requirements in various working angles, the continuously adjustable lamp head allows precise alignment of the light beam from 0° to 90°.
Its lightweight design makes it especially handy and ideal for mobile use.

The work light features two brightness levels, offering either maximum light output or extended battery life.
An integrated flashing function can attract attention in hazardous situations and indicate potential risks.
The rear clip allows attachment to work clothing (e.g., firefighter jackets).
With the integrated battery indicator, you can always keep track of the remaining charge. In high-performance mode, the operating time is 9 hours, and in energy-saving mode, 18 hours.

3 W high-power LED with a long life time

Equipped with a high-performance 3 W Luxeon LED, the Ex light ensures optimal visibility for up to 18 hours. Depending on your brightness requirements, two lighting modes are available. In the maximum brightness setting, the light reliably provides 9 hours of neutral white illumination, while in the energy-efficient dimmed mode, it delivers up to 18 hours of glare-free working light.

90° swiveling lamp head

The continuously adjustable lamp head allows precise alignment of the light beam within a 0°–90° range.

Emergency light function included

Outside the Ex zone, the light can also be used as an emergency light.

When the PL-AT803 is switched on and placed in its charging cradle, the emergency light function is automatically activated in the event of a power failure. Once mains power is restored, the lamp switches off automatically. This makes the Ex light a reliable source of illumination during power outages – for example, in industrial and manufacturing halls, machine rooms, or other areas.

Li-ion battery – High quality, light, powerful

The versatile Ex light is equipped with a highly efficient Li-Ion battery, protected against overheating, overcharge, and deep discharge. The maintenance-free Li-Ion battery, with its high energy density, ensures a long service life while significantly reducing the weight of the light.

In the practical charging cradle, the Ex light can be securely fixed and charged at the same time. During charging, the current battery level can be read via three LEDs on the charging station, while a flashing LED on the back of the Ex light indicates a pending deep discharge during operation. Thanks to its low self-discharge, the Ex work light is always ready for use. The 230 V mains adapter and charging cradle are included in the delivery.

The charging station is not explosion-proof and must not be placed or operated in an explosive atmosphere.

Easy to use – highly visible charge status indicators

The rubber-coated push button allows for comfortable operation even while wearing work gloves. It is used to switch the light on and off and to select the desired lighting mode. During operation, a flashing LED signals a pending deep discharge of the battery in advance.

The housing of the PL-AT803A is antistatic, extremely robust, and made of impact- and shock-resistant heatproof plastic with additional glass fibre reinforcement. The high-quality LED module is protected against potential damage by a hardened clear glass cover.

Thanks to its dust- and waterproof housing (IP 65), the Ex light can be used both indoors and outdoors.
