Optimal charge while driving
The Schaudt Booster WA 1208 is used for optimal charging of lead-acid and lead-gel batteries while driving in caravans with 12 V electrical systems.
The booster raises the charging voltage available in the caravan to max. 14.4 V and the charging current to max. 9 A. As long as the ignition on the towing vehicle is switched on, the booster is active and the caravan battery will be charged.
The booster automatically disconnects the caravan battery from the towing vehicle as soon as the engine and ignition are switched off. This prevents discharge of the battery in the towing vehicle.
