Modern energy supply - the ideal battery for your vehicle
The usable capacity of lithium batteries (100 %) is unbeaten and twice as high compared to lead batteries (50 %). A 12 V, 170 Ah lead battery can be equivalently replaced by a 12 V, 84 Ah lithium batterie without having to accept losses in usable energy.
In combination with the considerably lower weight of a lithium battery, 75 % weight can be effectively saved whilst the usable capacity remains unchanged.
Even if high currents are discharged, which may occur when demanding electrical consumers, such as coffee machines, hairdryers, flex and compressor are used, a lithium batterie supplie consistent capacity on a stable voltage level at the same time.
A further benefit is its extremely long cycle life (2.500 at 80 % depth of discharge, 3.000 at 70 % depth of discharge, 5.000 at 50 % depth of discharge), which exceeds the cycle life of conventional lead batteries (up to 550 cycles at 50 % depth of discharge) many times over. In contrast to lead batteries, cyclic deep discharges and longer deep-discharged rest periods have no notable impact on the cycling performance of our battery.
In addition to its very low selfdischarge, a selfsufficient energy supply over a longer period can therefore be ensured.
Important NOTE!
All MOLL special Li batteries are equipped with a BMS (Battery Management System),
this monitors all important parameters of the LiFePOâ‚„ battery: e.g. voltage, current, temperature, charging cycles, etc.
The BMS ensures that the battery is protected from any incorrect handling.
It disconnects the battery at overvoltage, undervoltage or if the current draw is too high and automatically switch on again as soon as the
problem has been resolved.
In particular, the maximum output current is an important physical parameter for protecting the battery.
